PROGRAM OUTCOMES, PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES AND COURSE OUTCOMES FOR ALL PROGRAMS OFFERED BY THE INSTITUTION

B.A Program

The college offers degree in B.A with H.E.P, H.E.K, and H.E.S and from this academic year we have also offered E.P.J. In addition to the major combinations, all the students are compulsorily study Environmental studies, Computer applications. Indian Constitution, Administrative studies skilled enhanced courses. The students must go through a well-defined study program for their overall development. As per courses structure of University of Mysore, Following the successful accomplishment of B.A degree courses students can pursue KPSC, UPSC, SSRB, IBPS etc. for their carriers or go for higher education PG degree in their respective. 

Following are the major structure of the program:

  1. Students can pursue various employment opportunities like public relation officer in corporate sector, Education, Psychologist in various NGO’S, social activities, Economic advisor, Laws etc.
  2. This course also suits the various opportunities railway and civil services non-banking sectors etc.
  3. After UG Program student can also pursue various PG Programs and PhD’s. to choose teaching as their carriers in college and universities.
  4. Students can also choose to work in NGO’S.

Commerce and Management Program

Program out comes: All the UG and PG course structures designed by the UOM. To provide students with a wide range of  managerial skills and understanding the streams like Accounting, Financial Management, GST, Marketing management, HRM, entrepreneurship development, Organisational Behaviour, Tax management , E-filling of returns etc. are taught. A degree in Commerce and management opens up immeasurable carrier opportunities in corporate sector both in India and abroad. It also helps the students to start SME, on their own in the capacity of entrepreneurs.

The primary objective of both UG and PG Commerce and Management course in to enable every student to top up with current issues. Through students co-operative store the college motivates the students to get practical knowledge in business organisation at the local, National international level.

Specific outcome of Commerce and Management

Through MOU with Job Kart India, University of Mysore as given an opportunity to all the affiliated colleges to update the students profiles to get into the specific career opportunities. However, our teacher of commerce and management ponder over the current syllabus and try to implement some specific program.

The specific outcomes of commerce and management course are:

  1. Commerce and Management curricular offer a number of specialisation and practical exposure at the first degree itself to equip the students to face the challenges in Commerce and Management.
  2. Through to skill enhanced course and discipline enhanced course, students will be able to demonstrate the process of learning the various issues like computation of GST, Corporate Tax,  Financial planning, Financial policy and tax reforms like one India one tax and various reform related to tax and other corporate issues.
  3. Students can also pursue chartered accountancy course, ICWA, CS, forth domain development and the role of account and business.
  4. Students can learn relevant financial accounting career skills, qualitative and quantitative knowledge to their future and career knowledge.

BSc program

Studying BSc has benefits of its own; the only problem being that the course is not much advertised by schools.  Students are unaware of the career prospects after a BSc degree and many of them feel the course have nothing to offer. It’s because of these misconnections that the course’s image has suffered in recent days or time.  BSC is a graduate level course in science related subjected. The students can choose between general BSc and BSc (Hon’s) course .Those interested in fields of computers and information technology can opt for BSC (Computer science / IT). The traditional BSC courses include subjects like PCM. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Zoology, Statistics and Home Science etc. The professional BSc course cover more job oriented subjects link Agriculture, Animation, Aquaculture, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Genetics, Computer science, Fashion Technology, Electronics, Multimedia, Physiotherapy,  Psychology and many other.
