Library

A library is a collection of sources, resources, and services. Books are foremost among the library reading material collection. In order to meet the academic and intellectual needs of both the students and the teachers, to meet their appetite for more knowledge, to satisfy their curiosity, to enable the students to have a full mastery of the subjects they are studying, the library over the years made a good collection of books. The library functions on an open access system for the students as well as faculty members. The college library has a collection of about 25,000 books and 64 journals. The library is computerized with latest software and e-resources through inflibnet is made available to the readers. One Librarian and five Asst. Librarians manage the library. The working hours of the library are 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Class Room

The college has spacious and well-structured classrooms and creates good ambiance for teaching and learning process. The requirement of classroom is based on number of students admitted and batch strength.

Auditorium

For the development of cultural activities and to nurture the talented young stage artists a good auditorium is essential requisites. The college has good and spacious auditorium viz. ‘Shanthi Bhavan’. It can accommodate more than 500 students along with mini auditorium.

Canteen

For the benefit of students and staff the college has a good canteen facility.

Labs:

The College has very good Lab facility as per the needs of the science students.

Counseling Cell:

The College gives special importance to guidance service. Two lecturers trained in counseling. Academic and personal counseling is extended to students through these lecturers.

Employment Cell:

The College has an employment cell and placement officer. The employment cell conducts career guidance and motivates the students to take up self-employment.

Audio Visual Center:

The College has a separate Audio Visual Center. Overhead projector, T.V., V.C.R. Tape recorders and a wide range of audio and videocassettes are available for the use of the students.

All round Personality Development:

Every department in the college has a departmental association aim to nurturing cultural and literary talents of the students. Lead roles are given to the students to organize cultural activities and arranging seminars, guest lecture, personality development, wall magazine, group discussion etc.
